- A New Government!

As Britain goes to the polls on the back of weeks of campaigning by the various political parties staking their claim to government, one thing is certain - whichever party succeeds, the many problems which we face in our day to day lives will continue throughout the years ahead to one degree or another.
Indeed, such is the case not only in Britain, but throughout the world, as mankind struggles day by day to maintain law and order, yet never managing to overcome the many problems that plague society.
Surely we must all long for a government which will bring these many issues to an end once and for all. Such a government is taught of in the Bible, for at the return of Christ, he will establish God's Kingdom in Israel once more, and rule with those who have served him faithfully for eternity. This will be a time when the world shall be full of the many blessings of the Lord God, when 'sorrow and sighing shall flee away' and there shall be 'quietness and assurance for ever'; a time when 'the kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.'
